RECESS presents “EARLY ACCESS,” a preseason rail jam at Beech Mountain Resort.
It’s time to knock the dust off! With updated snowmaking capabilities on the tubing hill, we are excited to kick things off early!
EARLY ACCESS is open to both snowboarders and skiers. Categories include beginner, intermediate, advanced, and women! Several rail options are in play with a jam hike format.

Contest Begins at Noon
Spectators are welcome and encouraged! Beech Mountain Brewing Co. is open for drinks and food trucks, including What the Cluck and Brick Oven Pizzeria will be present. Sit by one of the many fire-pits and relax while you watch the competition. The administration office at Beech Mountain Resort will be open from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. for season pass pick-up.
